Help us improve your healthcare experience by completing an important survey.

Watch that mailbox: You may soon receive a healthcare survey from a firm called SPH Analytics. If you get the mailing (or you receive the email version), it means you’ve been selected to participate in a national effort to assess and improve healthcare in America.

Survey participants are chosen at random, and there are several good reasons to take a few minutes to fill out the questionnaire:

  • Your experience matters. The survey asks about your experience accessing and receiving care from providers, as well as your experience with your health plan. According to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, “The surveys focus on matters that patients themselves say are important to them and for which patients are the best and/or only source of information.”
  • Your information is private. Survey responses are anonymized, so they’re completely confidential. If you are chosen to participate, your responses will not impact your health coverage in any way.
  • You can help us improve. Previous years’ surveys have given PacificSource valuable feedback which we’ve used to spur positive changes for members. Examples include improved tools for locating providers; a new clinical education series focused on fostering a more positive patient experience; and new online resources to help patients navigate the healthcare system.

This survey isn’t about “customer satisfaction”—it’s about how you perceive certain aspects of your care, from communicating with your doctor to working with our Customer Service team, and more.

If you’re picked to receive the survey, remember: It will come from SPH Analytics (our partner for this annual effort). It’s not junk mail, and it’s not trying to sell you anything. It’s your chance to let your voice be heard—and have a positive impact on your own healthcare as well as the health of your community.
