During the COVID-19 pandemic, PacificSource made many COVID-19 services available at no cost to Idaho members.
If you live in Idaho, treatment of COVID-19 will return to regular plan benefits, effective July 1. Deductibles, copays, and/or coinsurance will apply.
This change in coverage is due to new guidance from the Idaho Department of Insurance.
What does this mean if you get COVID?
If you’re an Idaho resident, your COVID-19 treatment would be covered according to your health plan benefits. So your normal cost sharing will apply, including deductibles, copays, and/or coinsurance.
What about testing and vaccines?
Some COVID-related costs continue to be covered in full. PacificSource will continue to cover the following services, including services provided in an office setting or urgent care, at $0 cost:
- Vaccinations, including boosters
- Testing
- Diagnosis of COVID-19
